Kaiko x dinadi
Kaiko and Dinadi started working together last fall when Kaiko's founder Mirjam visited Nepal for the first time. Founded by a Swedish-Canadian couple, Dinadi's primary purpose is to create fair and empowering jobs for Nepalese women.
Kaiko x dinadi
The training offered by Dinadi and the jobs created by the skills significantly change the lives of employed women. Dinadi pays fair compensation for the work, which is about twice the wages required by Nepali labor laws, and several of the workers are earning their own living for the first time in their lives. Dinadi also works with its employees for comprehensive well-being by organizing trainings on health care, hygiene and housekeeping. If the employee has children, in addition to the salary, compensation is paid for the children's school fees. All employees are insured and have a pension savings system made possible by Dinad. Benefits are self-evident to many in Finland, but are completely exceptional in Nepal.
Kaiko x dinadi
In developing countries, the education and employment of women safely changes the whole society and it is the key to many of the biggest problems of our time, such as climate change or human trafficking. Even small actions matter when you want to change big things.
